On our way back after our weekend in York we decided to take a little detour through the Peak District. We drove around for a while stopping off a few times to walk up hills and take in the views. It was absolutely stunning. Having grown up on the Isle of Wight I thought I had a good appreciation for a beautiful countryside view but the Peak District below me away (almost literally when we got to the top of a particular steep hill). Anyway, I've nothing more to say hopefully the photos do the area some justice.
